It doesn't.) Time consuming and obnoxious. Also, the program says it only works in certain web browsers, but doesn't specify which. Neither Chrome now IE worked.

I have used this program for at least the past ten years and have never had the problems you have. I have used Opera, Chrome, IE, Firefox and all worked fine with this program. One thing you might have missed is it works best with whatever browser is your default browser in windows. I have stored my passwords on a usb drive with the backup data button under the tools button. No problem at all. I also have stored this file off site in a saved email. It works perfectly time after time for me. A must have for me.

I used this program for years and loved it. Then one day my computer crashed and my backup didn't work. I was able to recover an image of my hard drive but was unable to recover my passwords since they are all buried somewhere in the registry and I cannot retrieve them. The software developer's website is non-existent so I could not get any support for the problem which was disappointing since I loved the program. I am afraid to use it now on my new computer since I don't trust the backups and there would be no way to recover the lost data in the event of another crash.
