Blizzard Entertainment has announced the release of Mac OS X-native versions of the game StarCraft and its add-on expansion pack, StarCraft: Brood War. Mac gamers who use Mac OS X 10.1 or later can now play the game using a Carbonized application.
StarCraft is Blizzard's enormously popular real-time strategy game that puts players in control of one of three different spacefaring species: the heavily armored Terrans, the Zerg hive-mind, or the technologically advanced and psionically powerful Protoss.
